Sri Lanka Arrival Card
The Sri Lanka Arrival Card is an electronic immigration form introduced by the Sri Lankan authorities to facilitate and expedite the formalities for all foreign visitors entering the country by air or sea.
The main idea for the implementation of the online arrival card was to digitalize Sri Lankan immigration services and, at the same time, eliminate the need to fill out any paper forms upon arrival in Sri Lanka.
The Sri Lankan Arrival Card should be completed within 7 days prior to the planned trip. All travelers should simply follow a few very intuitive steps, which require completing a short online form with essential travel and personal details and paying the service fee.
As a result, a confirmation of a successfully completed arrival card will be delivered to the applicant via email. The receipt of the approved Sri Lanka Arrival Card does not need to be printed, as the card will be digitally linked to the traveler's passport. After you arrive in Sri Lanka, you will only need to show your valid passport for verification purposes.
Important: The Sri Lankan Arrival Card does not replace the ETA to Sri Lanka. If you are a national of a non-visa-exempt country, you should complete the online arrival card and apply for a Sri Lana ETA as well.
