SG Arrival Card

The Singapore Electronic Arrival Card, also known as the SG Arrival Card, was implemented by the Singaporean authorities to replace the former paper-based D/E Card (Disembarkation/Embarkation) system.

Now, travelers can avoid standing in long lines when crossing the country's borders. Instead, thanks to the new system, they are able to complete the arrival card before a trip from the comfort of their home.

Once the traveler arrives in Singapore, they do not need to fill out any additional paper forms. The Singapore Arrival Card is electronically linked with the passport used in the online application, which allows for smooth movement at the Singaporean border.

The SG Arrival Card requires travelers to provide their passport and personal details, travel plans, as well as a health declaration.

All travelers visiting Singapore need to submit SG Arrival Card 3 business days in advance of their planned visit.

Nationals of some countries can enter Singapore visa-free. Nevertheless, they will still need to obtain the electronic arrival card.

Since the SG Arrival Card does not replace the visa, travelers coming from non-visa-exempt countries will need to obtain both a relevant Singaporean visa and submit the Singaporean electronic health declaration.

Who must complete the Singapore Electronic Arrival Card

All travelers entering Singapore, including Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, Long-Term Pass holders (Student's Pass, Dependant's Pass, Long-Term Visit Pass and Work Pass), travelers enrolled in the Frequent Traveler Programme and foreign visitors, should submit a health declaration.

All foreign visitors arriving in Singapore must submit SG Arrival Card for arrival immigration clearance.

The requirement to complete the Singapore Arrival Card does not apply only to travelers in transit who will not be seeking immigration clearance. SG Arrival Card is not mandatory for fully vaccinated residents traveling through the land checkpoints either.

Complete the SG Electronic Health Declaration on time

The electronic health declaration for Singapore needs to be completed up to 3 days prior to the planned arrival in Singapore. It may take up to 1-2 days to process the application. The real processing time may differ and is at the total discretion of Singaporean authorities.

Nevertheless, submitting the error-free data in the online application form may ensure quick approval without any unexpected delays.
