Kenya eVisa for Indian Citizens

Citizens of most countries wishing to travel to Kenya are required to obtain a visa before the planned visit. Fortunately, Indian citizens can choose to use the online alternative to a regular visa - an eVisa to Kenya.

eVisa for Indian citizens serves as an online authorization that comes in three types and makes it possible to visit Kenya for purposes relating to leisure, business, and transit.

The online application for an eVisa for Kenya requires submitting an application form. The process itself can take only a couple of minutes while the processing time may take up to 72 hours (3 business days). The approved visa is then delivered to each applicant via email in PDF form.

How to apply for a Kenya eVisa from India?

To start the online application process click on the 'Apply Online' button and follow these steps to complete the process:

  • Provide the necessary details: enter basic personal information, as well as details of your trip to Kenya. Double-check all the information entered in the online form to make sure it's error-free. It will enable you to avoid unnecessary delays in obtaining your eVisa.
  • Pay the Kenyan eVisa processing fee: cover the visa fee (99 Euro or 149 Euro) using any preferred online payment method.
  • Check your email inbox: check if the confirmation number has already reached your inbox. The approved online visa will also reach your email in PDF form.

A printed version of your electronic visa to Kenya needs to be shown upon entering the country. Make sure you have it before going to the airport.
