The Government of Gabon introduced the electronic visa system enabling international visitors to apply for a visa to Gabon for tourism, transit, business, or medical purposes.

Eligible applicants can choose either a single-entry or multiple-entry visa. Depending on the selected visa type, the validity period may be from 1 to 6 months.

Applicants should have a valid passport and a digital face photo, as these two documents must be uploaded to the online application form. The entire application process consists of only 3 steps, so it shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes. What's most important, you don't need to visit any diplomatic mission to collect your visa as the approved document will be delivered to you via email.

Visa On Arrival

According to the Gabonese visa policy, travelers from around 45 different countries don't need to obtain a visa prior to traveling to Gabon as they are eligible for a visitor's visa on arrival.

The Gabonese VoA can be issued for a maximum stay of 90 days and covers tourism, transit, or business purposes. In order to get a visa upon arrival in Gabon, one needs to queue in an immigration line, submit the necessary documents and cover the mandatory visa fee.
