Dominican Republic e-Ticket

The Republica Dominicana e-Ticket is a type of digital passenger locator form introduced in November 2020. It must be completed by all foreign and local visitors entering or exiting the Dominican Republic.

This one document comprises the health declaration, customs declaration form, and embarkation and disembarkation cards. The entry/exit form is essential for travel to the Dominican Republic.

The Dominican e-Ticket is valid for only a single entry to the country. For exit, you must complete another application. There is no particular number of days the document remains valid.

Each passenger must complete the online form with personal, travel, and health details. They must answer the questions truthfully. The General Directorate of Migration will verify this information.

Then, they will obtain a QR code. It must be presented upon passing through the customs section. They can carry a printed paper copy or download it to a mobile device as a digital record.

You can complete the Dominican electronic ticket application for all the family members. Provide the essential entry and exit data of their travel plans. Make sure you've written each passport number properly. Each person should have a separate QR code.

NOTE! The Dominican e-Ticket is not a visa! If you cannot enter the Dominican Republic visa-free, you should visit the nearest embassy.

Who must complete the Dominican Republic e-Ticket

Every person traveling to the Dominican Republic needs to complete the Dominican e-Ticket application. Without a valid QR code, they cannot enter or leave the country.

This requirement also applies to citizens of the Dominican Republic. If leaving or re-entering the country, they need valid locator forms as well.

How to submit the Dominican Republic e-Ticket

To apply for the Dominican e-Ticket, click the button on the left and proceed with the form. The document is required for passengers arriving and departing from the Dominican Republic.

  1. Fill out the form online. Provide the necessary details in the application.
  2. Pay the processing fee. Use your card or another online payment method.
  3. Download the ticket. Print it out or keep it on your phone.

The standard processing of the Dominican electronic ticket is between 24 and 72 hours.

You'll also be required to complete a customs declaration (a unique form for adults). It's not mandatory for minors, but each kid needs an individual form completed by their parent or guardian.

Make sure you have the following documents to enter the Dominican Republic without problems:

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months
  • Round-trip flight ticket
  • Dominican e-Ticket form
  • Dominican visa or Tourist Card (if required)
