Laos Visa Application Online

Laos eVisa information

The Laos eVisa is an electronic visa, implemented in 2019 by the Lao Government, in order to simplify and speed up the visa application process for all eligible visitors.

To get the eVisa to Laos, all travelers need to complete an online visa application form that should take just a few minutes to do. The approved eVisa will then arrive directly at the applicant's email address.

The Laos eVisa is a single-entry visa that stays valid for 60 days and allows visitors to enter Laos for up to 30 days for business and tourism-related purposes.

By applying for an eVisa before departure, tourists can save time and money they would have to spend on handling a regular, Embassy visa.

Further information covers the Laos eVisa requirements, the application process, and more!

  • Laos eVisa types

There is only one online Laos visa type available to all eligible travelers. The electronic tourist visa is a single-entry permit that can be used for tourism purposes, such as visiting your friends/family, going on vacation, or exploring Laos tourist destinations.

A single-entry eVisa to Laos enables its holders to stay in the country for 30 days and has a two-month validity (60 days) from the date of its approval.

Apply online using any working device, print the processed document, and take the approved online visa on your Laos travel along with your valid passport.
