eVisa to Zimbabwe: Basic Information

Every person who holds a valid passport is entitled to apply for an eVisa to Zimbabwe.

The price for issuing an eVisa is 69 Euro, 89 Euro or 99 Euro (it varies depending on the purpose and length of your stay in Zimbabwe).

  • Types of eVisa's

    There are 3 types of eVisas available for Zimbabwe:

    • Single entry
    • Double entry
    • KAZA UNIVISA

    All types of eVisa enable your stay in tourist, transit, business and conference attending, workshops and seminars. Additionally, KAZA Univisa allows you to travel both to Zimbabwe and Zambia with the possibility to reenter each of the countries territories.

  • List of eligible countries

    To enter Zimbabwe with an eVisa you have to be a passport holder of one of the mentioned countries:

    On the selected port of entry, your passport will be stamped and your fingerprints will be taken by the government customs.

  • eVisa Zimbabwe application form

    The validity period of your eVisa may vary accordingly to the type.

    For fulfiling the application, use the panel on the left. Select from the enlisted the purpose of your stay and choose your citizenship from the available. Click "Apply online" to fill out your application form.

    The final decision and processing time are dependable on the government of Zimbabwe.

    Granted eVisa will be sent to the email address provided in the application. After you receive the email you have to print the document out and present it to the customs officials at the airport upon arrival in Zimbabwe.

  • eVisa validity period

    The validity of an eVisa varies depending on its type:

    • Single entry and double entry eVisa - valid for 90 days from the issuance date. In the case of tourism, eVisa enables your stay in Zimbabwe for 90 days and if you are planning on going in business or conference attending purposes, with an eVisa you are allowed to stay for 30 days.
    • KAZA UNIVISA - the validity period lasts for 30 days from the issuance date. It permits you to travel between Zambia and Zimbabwe for a maximum period of stay of 30 days.

    ATTENTION: To be eligible to apply for an eVisa your passport has to be valid for at least 6 months from the planned arrival date.

  • Transit visa information

    Anyone who is to travel in transit purpose through Zimbabwe is obliged to get a transit eVisa in advance.

  • Requirements on arrival

    Two documents - a valid passport and an approved eVisa - are expected to be presented to the customs officials at the airport in Zimbabwe in verification purposes. A physical form, of the mentioned, will be required.

 

KAZA UNIVISA

Granted KAZA Univisa enables your stay in the countries territories of Zambia and Zimbabwe. It's a multiple entry authorization that allows you to cross the border in the following purposes: tourism, business, transit, and conference attending. The visa is valid 30 days from the issuance date.

    ATTENTION If your nationality has not been mentioned above you have to acquire 2 separate eVisas before your planned departure or apply for a standard embassy visa in order to visit Zimbabwe.

  • Ports of entry

    With granted KAZA Visa you are entitled to cross the borders via any of the enlisted border crossings in Zimbabwe:

    • Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport
    • Victoria Falls International Airport
    • Victoria Falls Land Barrier
    • Kazungula Border Post

Required documents

In the case of nationalities that have not been marked with *, all that needs to be done is the fulfillment of the application with the data from the passport - there is no need for attaching any additional documentation. The only requirement is for the passport to remain valid for a period of at least 6 months from the planned date of entry.

In the case of nationalities marked with * it is required to enclose additional documents. The amount of the required files is dictated by the reason for entry.

It is necessary to provide the enlisted for each type of eVisa:

  • Passport's biodata page
  • A photograph of an applicant
  • Proof of residence in the country of origin

In the case of a tourist purpose an applicant is obliged to provide also:

  • Hotel booking reservation

If an applicant is intending to cross the border of Zimbabwe in business purposes:

  • Invitation letter from a company located in Zimbabwe
  • An invitation letter issued by the applicant's company
 

Important information

  • An application has to be submitted with a 3 days advance.
  • A separate application has to be submitted by anyone who wishes to enter the country territory.
  • There is no need to obtain an eVisa if you are not going to leave the transit area.
  • Granted eVisa has to be printed out and carried with to the border crossing.
  • The approved document can be extended before it reaches its expiry date. Those who fail to make an appointment at any headquarters of the Main Department of Immigration and National Affairs or the nearest border crossing in extensions purposes will be fined.
  • An eVisa does not authorize any labour activity.
