The approved visa is sent digitally to the email address provided in the application form and should be printed out before the trip.
On arrival to Mauritania, all visa holders must head to the immigration point to provide their biometric data (such as fingerprints) – only then can they enter the country.
Types of Mauritania eVisa
There are a few types of the Mauritanian eVisa available online for eligible visitors.

Citizens of Algeria, Cote d’Ivoire, Gambia, Libya, Mali, Niger, Senegal, and Tunisia can enter Mauritania visa-free for up to 90 days.
Nationals of Syria can only apply for a Mauritanian visa at the embassy.

To obtain a Mauritania eVisa, the applicant needs a stable internet connection and an electronic device – a smartphone will suffice.

- Upload the required documents to the website in a digital form (PDF and JPG files would be best).

Remember to allow enough time for the visa processing – 5 business days is the standard waiting period for the Mauritania visa approval, but delays may happen.
The Mauritanian eVisa will be delivered to the email address and must be printed out before travel.
To enter Mauritania without hassle, travelers need to have a valid passport, carry a visa printout, and take part in a biometric screening at the immigration station.
