Malawi e-Visa Application

Malawi e-Visa: Basic information

Malawi e-Visa is an electronic visa that makes it possible for its holders to visit Malawi for tourism, business, transit, and even medical purposes.

The country's government introduced the electronic visa system in 2019 to facilitate the process of visa handling switching to an online application.

There are four Malawi e-Visa types to distinguish. Three of them serve for tourism, business, and medical purposes and come in the form of either single-entry or multiple-entry visas while the fourth type serves as a transit e-Visa.

The length of the maximum stay with the Malawi e-Visa differs depending on its selected type and can be either 7 or 30 days and 6 or 12 months. The validity period of the online Malawi visa is 90 days (three months) irrespective of the type selected.

Applicants can use their phones, laptops, PCs, or tablets, and visit our website to complete the online visa application process within a few minutes from home.

The online visa to Malawi will be then delivered straight to the applicant's email box in PDF form within 5 business days without the need to visit the Embassy or a Consulate.
