Jordan Visa Application

Jordan e-Visa: Basic information

Jordan e-Visa is an online visa that the Jordan Government decided to introduce in March 2023 at the same time discontinuing the issuance of stamp visas.

Eligible travelers can now apply for a Jordan e-Visa from the comfort of their homes.

The entire application process can be completed online and requires following a few very intuitive and straightforward steps. The approved Jordan e-Visa will be delivered straight to the applicant's email inbox.

The online visit permit comes in four types, all of which grant 30 days of stay regardless of the validity period. It is also possible to receive a special transit permit.

Remember to apply for your e-Visa at least 3 business days in advance of your planned journey to Jordan to receive the approval on time.

Visitors may also obtain the Jordan Pass to have access to over 40 different UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

  • Jordan Visa Types

    Following, there are all Jordan electronic visa types that an eligible applicant can obtain online:

    1. Visit Visa: a permit that comes in four types that differ in terms of the validity and the allowed number of entries:

    • a single-entry e-Visa valid for 3 months from the date of issue, allowing a 30-day stay;
    • a double-entry e-Visa valid for 3 months, granting a stay of 30 days via 2 visits;
