Israel ETA
Israel ETA Information
The Israel ETA (IL ETA) is the electronic travel authorization required for visa-exempt citizens to enter Israel.
The travel authorization for Israel has been introduced to monitor incoming visitors, minimize illegal immigration, and enhance security within the country.
The IL ETA stays valid for 2 years of issue or until the applicant’s passport expires – whichever comes first.
The Israeli travel authorization covers numerous visits for up to 90 days (3 months) each during its validity period.
The ETA may be obtained for various non-work and non-medical purposes, including tourism and business in Israel.
The only required document is an eligible passport with an expiry date of at least 6 months after the date of arrival.
The application process for Israel ETA is completed online. Visitors must fill out a form and pay the fee. The approved travel authorization will be sent via email within 5 business days.
Types of Israel ETA
The Israel ETA is available in one type only – as a multiple-entry permit that allows stays up to 90 days each and has a 2-year validity period.
If you want to remain in the country longer, you have to request an extension of stay.
The IL ETA holders can use it to travel to Israel for:
- leisure and sightseeing
- conducting business
- any other non-work and non-medical reasons
Employment under the Israeli travel authorization is strictly prohibited.
